Professional Bio
Edmund has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, financial advisory, and corporate strategy. Over the last 5 years, Edmund has consulted to private corporates on financial and business planning, business development and general operations. He was also a Senior Advisor and Head of Financial Institutions at boutique investment bank, BDA Partners.
Prior to this, Edmund was a Managing Director of Financial Institutions Group Asia at Macquarie Capital Advisers. Before his role at Macquarie, Edmund was a Managing Director of Financial Institutions Group Asia at UBS, preceded by his role as Assistant Director at Jardine Fleming Securities. He began his career as a Manager at Barclays de Zoete Wedd (now Barclays Investment Bank).
Edmund is also a fellow of the UK Securities Institute, and a Founding Member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute. Edmund was previously licensed with the Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Education
Edmund holds a MFA in Creative Writing from the City University of Hong Kong, a MSc Finance from London Business School, and a MA Modern History from University of Oxford.
