Alvin Li, Head of Supervisory Technology, Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA)

Alvin is responsible for implementing Supervisory Technology (Suptech) across different banking functions of the HKMA, facilitating the adoption of Regtech and Fintech in the financial services industry as well as overseeing the use of novel technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI).

His background includes roles as a management consultant at an international accounting & consultancy firm and a security strategist at one of the major cloud service providers. He holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Cybersecurity.
