Vippy has extensive experience in financial services, having spent over a decade in investment banks, exchanges, technology providers and management consultancies. Most recently, she was a Director in the Industry Solutions team at Thomson Reuters, where she was responsible for identifying, developing and executing new, innovative ventures and businesses across the Financial & Risk sector.

Prior to Thomson Reuters, she was a founding member of a new commodities exchange in Hong Kong, where she was involved in all aspects of launching the trading venue with a focus on business development, and sales and marketing.

Vippy has held various positions in principal investments, corporate finance, strategy and management consulting in Hong Kong and New York. She covered mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and principal investments as a TMT investment banker and equity investor at ABN Amro. As a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, Vippy has advised a number of global and Asia based financial institutions including wealth managers, insurers, and custody banks.
